In the 1990s a whole fleet of electric cars were on the road in California. Everyone who
leased one (no one was allowed to purchase one) wanted to renew or buy the one they were
using but the vehicles were taken back by the manufacturer and destroyed. This is another
example of suppressed technology allegedly snuffed out by big oil and automotive companies.
There is also a mention of suppressed battery technology developed ideally for electric cars.
It is obvious there is big money in oil that would favor continuous use of gas fueled
vehicles. Not to mention, there is also a lot money to be made in the manufacture, sale
and replacement of the many parts required in the gasoline engine.
